Piere Rottigéi is a Parisian born artist of mixed european descent, working with assemblage art and photography they explore and trace their flightful origins and ancestry - and the communities that share the same journey. 'Taken, borrowed, left, to begin again' features a selection of the materials of borrowed, found and shared objects, from friends family and Pierre's own home, organised for examination outside of their context. Alongside his photos of the gaps, hole and cracks of the urban world, the two aim to impress a sense of both place and placelessness - the spaces left for this haphazard homeworking, while still transitory and hostile to the idea of home at all.
